Me Made May 2016 Roundup

Me Made May 2016 is an annual institution amongst home sewists, with Zoe of So Zo What Do You Know at the helm. This was my second year participating, but my pledge was the same as last year, to wear at least two me made items each day for the month of May.

Each day I wore a me made bra, and sometimes me made undies as well. That left a minimum of one me made item to wear each day. Links to all me-mades except underwear are in the round up below.

I did make a concerted effort to wear a different outfit each day, and was tempted to take a photo in my dressing gown for the last day, as I was feeling too cold to get dressed! Instead, I looked through the photos of what I had worn in the last week or so to decide what to wear.

My verdict on Me Made May 2016; was it worthwhile participating? If for nothing else, I would say yes, as it makes me think about what I'm wearing, and where I have gaps in my wardrobe. Next year, I'll be aiming to wear all me made bras and undies, with a maximum of one non me made outer garment per day. I think. I still have 11 months to decide that one.
